The children all started off decorating their flower pot.
Dougie used his communicating skills to remind everyone “don't forget the
roots everyone”

There was some lovely colourful flower pots.
It was now time to get sticky!!
Fine motor skills are being developed as all the parts of the flower are being glued

All of the children communicate their knowledge and ideas about plants to each other.
“The stem is next”
“I want three leaves”
“My fingers are so sticky”
“My flower has so many seeds”
“This is so much fun”

The children understand and express their ideas and information confidently and
creatively in more than one language so we are going to learn the names of these plant parts in Irish.

They also understand information in many ways and art is one of those ways children

Strong communication also works effectively and willingly in collaboration with
others and as you can see in these photos the children are doing just that.
